Hey friends! As a new blogger, I am learning as I go. To say there is a huge learning curve is an understatement. It’s not as easy as writing a post and sending it out into the blogosphere. Not at least if you want to grow a real following or grow a business. In order to achieve that you have to play the social media game too. That alone is a full-time job. You have to get your content out there and reach a lot of people. And, you have to do it multiple times a day on a consistent basis.
Many of you are, as my son explains to me, digital natives. I, on the other hand, in the words of the same son, am a digital pilgrim. This means that I’m too old to understand it. He is kind of right. It is an overwhelming task to take on the social media beast. You have to post several times a day, comment on other people’s posts, try to get likes and follows, all while writing posts, taking photos, and in my case, working a full-time job. Whew! That makes me tired just typing it. 🙂 A media scheduler is a must. You need a service that will allow you to schedule your content and when you want it shared.
Luckily, there are tools to help you with the social media aspects of growing your blog. You may have heard of Buffer or CoSchedule. I’ve tried them out. They were ok. They got the job done. However, the one that I’ve found and am using now is Viraltag. I have to say, I am really loving it too. It has made this new undertaking so much easier. There are several companies that offer similar services that will allow you to schedule your social media posts and then post them at the appointed time. Viraltag is the one that is the most user friendly and easy to use.
What makes Viraltag different is this little bit of a game changer. With Viraltag you can bulk upload your photos for your posts and schedule them all at once. That means I don’t have to select individual images and then schedule them separately. The bulk option saves me time.
Even better, you can edit each photo for the format of each social media outlet. What??? I don’t have to remember what size for which site or edit a photo multiple times? Nope. I can let Viraltag do the work for me. This makes my job infinitely easier. I can upload a photo and use that photo in multiple formats. Viraltag does the work for me. In fact, in just a short time, I was able to schedule weeks worth of posts on Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook as you can see below. I’ve been using it for almost two weeks and have already
Moreover, when I am scheduling to Pinterest, I can pin to multiple boards all at the same time. This means that my content and images is reaching a lot of people with just a few minutes of my time to schedule it.
Another great feature of Viraltag is that they have content right on their site that you can use yourself. This means you can find things for your audience and share it without having to search for it. And, you’re helping other people get their content out there. And guess what? You can share your content to the circles as well and have others share your stuff. That’s a win-win in my book.
Let’s face it, when you are already overwhelmed trying to learn a new skill or take on a new job, isn’t it nice when there is something that will make things easier? Well, I have a tool that does just that. SO, if you are new to blogging or new to social media or maybe just wanting to be more organized, you should take a look at Viraltag. They have special pricing for bloggers at just $7 a month, which makes them very competitive. And good news, if you do what I’ve done here and share your honest review of their service, you can earn 6 months of Viraltag for free! I am telling you, I am so happy I found them and I know you will be too.
Until next time~
