Have you seen all the tiered stands popping up on Pinterest and in magazines? When I first saw one, I fell in love. I love the idea of being able to have a staple accent piece that I can style for the seasons or holidays or use for entertaining. The first one I saw was in a Pottery Barn catalog. Pottery Barn…enough said. I have been smitten ever since. If you don’t have one, let me assure that it is a versatile piece and there is so much you can do with one. So, to inspire you, I’ve rounded up ideas of ways to style a tiered stand.
So, these ideas are ways that you can style your stand for use every day of the week. You could use yours to make a coffee or drink station on your kitchen counter. This way all of your supplies are within easy reach. Wouldn’t this also be great in a bar area?
Why not use a tiered stand to keep clutter under control in a bathroom? Or how about using one to store soaps and other supplies in your guest bath?
In your kitchen, a stand can be used to hold fresh produce or potted herbs. Functional and pretty. 🙂
Some times, a tiered stand can just be styled as a nice decorative accent in a room.
I love this idea of keeping small dishes handy. Again, this could be breakfast dishes or coffee mugs. When you add a bit of greenery or fresh flowers it instantly becomes something beautiful as well.
A tiered stand is also a piece that can be pulled into use for entertaining. It’s a great way to hold condiments or small containers of toppings. These ideas use the stand to serve food as well. I have used mine to serve desserts. That allows you to keep different choices for guests separated.
I’ve enjoyed using mine for an ice cream party and a hot chocolate bar. It makes an easy way to offer toppings as well as add some festive color to the party.
However, perhaps you’re not hosting an event. Instead, you just have guests in your home. Well, a tiered stand is a great way to have things set out for guests; especially for in the morning when people are getting up at different times. Why not have things already set out for your guests in case they are up before you?
SEASONS & HOLIDAY IDEAS
And, one of my favorite ways to use a tiered stand is as a way to incorporate seasonal decor. I love being able to give a nod to the season with the use of seasonal flowers or perhaps a few small decorative items like the tiny bunnies below.
Of course, you could go all out and make your tiered stand an entirely themed accent. It’s not hard with just a little ribbon, small accent pieces, and filler such as foliage.
And, here’s mine styled for spring.
If you don’t already have a tiered stand, I am betting that these pics have made you want one, right? They did me. So, let me help you out. Here are a few of my favorites from Amazon. Gotta love Prime…:) Just click on the pic and it will link you to it directly.
