Ways to Style a Tiered Stand

Tiered stands are versatile decor pieces and easy to style. Here's a round up of inspiration and pics.

Ways to Style a Tiered Stand

Have you seen all the tiered stands popping up on Pinterest and in magazines?  When I first saw one, I fell in love.  I love the idea of being able to have a staple accent piece that I can style for the seasons or holidays or use for entertaining.  The first one I saw was in a Pottery Barn catalog.  Pottery Barn…enough said.   I have been smitten ever since.  If you don’t have one, let me assure that it is a versatile piece and there is so much you can do with one.  So, to inspire you, I’ve rounded up ideas of ways to style a tiered stand.

EVERYDAY IDEAS

So, these ideas are ways that you can style your stand for use every day of the week.  You could use yours to make a coffee or drink station on your kitchen counter.  This way all of your supplies are within easy reach.  Wouldn’t this also be great in a bar area?

ENTERTAINING IDEAS

A tiered stand is also a piece that can be pulled into use for entertaining.  It’s a great way to hold condiments or small containers of toppings.  These ideas use the stand to serve food as well.  I have used mine to serve desserts.  That allows you to keep different choices for guests separated.

However, perhaps you’re not hosting an event.  Instead, you just have guests in your home.  Well, a tiered stand is a great way to have things set out for guests; especially for in the morning when people are getting up at different times.  Why not have things already set out for your guests in case they are up before you?

SEASONS & HOLIDAY IDEAS

And, one of my favorite ways to use a tiered stand is as a way to incorporate seasonal decor.  I love being able to give a nod to the season with the use of seasonal flowers or perhaps a few small decorative items like the tiny bunnies below.

Of course, you could go all out and make your tiered stand an entirely themed accent.  It’s not hard with just a little ribbon, small accent pieces, and filler such as foliage.

  7. So many incredible ways to make artistic use of a tiered stand. Love yours, what kind of pans did you use? Did you make yours?Yours is wonderful, love how you used it.
I had looked at Tractor Supply for the pans but cost for 3 sizes was more than I wanted to spend, maybe some day. I did buy a small 2 tiered stand at Joann’s but it was a bit unsteady. Walmart had nice BH&G 3 tiered stand but when I went back to buy they were out, will look online. Love so much of Walmart’s BH&G collection.
Thanks for rounding up so many wonderful uses.
    Have happy weekend

Thanks so much. I do love the tiered stand. I didn’t make mine although I have seen tutorials on how to do it. I think you’re right though. By the time you buy all the supplies it ends up being just about as expensive as ordering one. I bought both of mine. I think one came from Decor Steals (check out their site) and the other from Amazon (I think). You’re right about the BH & G stuff. Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you’ll come back.

  8. I LOVE the bathroom idea. That is mostly because I am in the middle of redoing my bathroom 🙂

I love that one too. I actually have a tiered stand in my bathroom, but it’s much smaller than the ones shown here. It helps to keep stuff handy without taking up too much counter space and looking cluttered. That one I picked up at Home Goods in the kitchen area. Good look on your renovation!

  9. I’d never thought of using a tiered stand before, this is just gorgeous. Thanks for all the ideas and inspiration and for linking up to #fortheloveofblog

Yes, they are super fun. I had not thought of it either until I saw a bunch of pictures of them. It’s a very do-able way to add some seasonal fun without having to re-do your whole house. 🙂 And, since it’s up high on a counter, it’s safe from the hands of littles. 🙂 Thanks for visiting. Have a great week!

  10. Wow these look fab! I must be living in another world as I’ve not seen them. Mind you I don’t so Pinterest much and I Can’t remember the last time I bought or read a magazine! #FortheloveofBLOG
