Hello! I’m glad you stopped by today. Things have been pretty busy around my house lately. How about you? Is it that way for everyone this time of year? Lots of house projects, landscaping, and keeping up with 3 boys. Well, it’s time to jump into this week’s wonderings. The things that I have randomly run through my mind at one time or another.
This blogging thing is a lot more time-consuming than I thought. I had no idea what all was involved. I have been on a HUGE learning curve and have no idea if I’m even “doing it right.” That may be a little too honest, really. Seriously though, hats off to all of you bloggers who have been at this for years. I am impressed and inspired by you. I want to be as good as you too. What are your secrets blogging Jedis?
In all seriousness, I am having fun learning and being challenged. All of this is good. But, I’m just sayin’ it’s kind of hard for this Type A personality to be on a learning curve. Patience is not a virtue I was given. 🙂
How do you feel about cheating? No, not that kind. I mean cheating on a diet? Having a cheat day? I try very hard to maintain a clean diet. After completing the Whole 30 I have not wanted to “mess up” by starting up again with the sugar or other things. Mainly I’m worried that it will be like opening Pandora’s box ~ of Wheat Thins. I am wondering if you “cheat” or get off that wagon for a short time, can you just get back on it? Or will it be like starting all over again? On the other hand, can anyone have a perfect diet all the time?
I am having a girls weekend this weekend and want to enjoy myself with no guilt. What are your thoughts on this topic? C’mon…I know a lot of you battle this as well. Share your ideas with me in the comments below.
So, essential oils are something that I have been interested in for a little over a year. I have enjoyed learning a little about them and trying some more holistic approaches to my family’s health. I have also been making homemade cleaners ~ one for granite, one for stainless, etc… They smell nice. They seem to get the job done as well. However, I wonder, are they really as good as a store-bought cleaner? On the one hand chemical free is a good thing. On the other hand, does it do as good of a job as the store-bought cleaners? Much as I love the chemical free, I love having things truly clean more. So, what do you think? Do you have any experience in this area? Even better, what essential oils are your favorites?
